Welcome to Taurus Gardening

I’m often asked what we do in the winter – surely there’s very little going on in the garden?

Snow and Ice, Brrrr!
The last two winters have seen us getting lots of snow – we now have a number of winter services and products to take the frosty bite out of these beautiful but difficult weather events:

Salt Supplies in a plastic refillable bucket – two products, SuperSalt, an aviation standard superstrong ice melt, and Easysalt, a premium white rocksalt. Neither product colourstain floors or carpets and we deliver to your door. Each new bucket costs just £22.99 including delivery in the Edinburgh area.

Snow shovels; this year we’re stocking plastic Snow Shovels, for just £10.99, or with a bucket of SuperSalt or EasySalt, for just £29.99 including delivery. AND, The First 100 orders will also get a free Taurus Car Ice Scraper! To ensure you’re prepared for the coming winter, call us now on 0800 9700415 and pre-order, deliveries will be starting early in November, in time for any cold weather.

Bare Roots
It’s the Bare Root season for hedging and trees – because shrubs and trees are dormant (from mid-November to mid-March) making it possible to buy plants and trees lifted straight from the growing fields – which makes them very much cheaper than the container grown plants you’d have to buy through the late Spring and Summer, so by far the most economical time to be planting these.

Garden Design
This is an excellent time of the year to get thinking about the design of your garden and how best you can enjoy it next Summer. If you’d like me to pop round and chat through any ideas you have for garden improvements, I’d be delighted to do so.

WINTER PREPARATION - SALT
It's not too early to get prepared and stocked up – our Supersalt and Easysalt tubs are available NOW for delivery (and refills) in the Edinburgh area, please just call 0800 9700 415 and we’ll do the rest!

"I've been enjoying the benefits of the Taurus teams help for several years now and my garden is often admired by people visiting my home.  The staff are more than gardeners to me, they're friends and I genuinely look forward to seeing them every fortnight."
